The Good House offers a unique and relaxing getaway from day to day reality.

Begin the day with a handmade breakfast, featuring the best pancakes in the desert. Rest your bones poolside, seek healing in our mineral hot spring pools, feel the warmth from the Finnish dry sauna and pamper yourself with our spa offerings.

Relax and refresh with pool side lunch, freshly made cocktails, mocktails and raw juices all created with wellness in mind. Lanterns surround the property with an in-ground fire pit illuminating the hot spring pools at night.

OUR HISTORY

Tucked in an enclave of Desert Hot Springs, the Hacienda Hot Springs Inn was a magical place imagined by Los Angeles-based rare book dealer William Dailey. Inspired by a decades-long love affair with the desert, Dailey purchased the property in 2003.

Dailey commissioned celebrated landscape designer and naturalist Bettina Birch to create environmentally sensitive gardens for the property. Birch’s signature vision of seamlessly integrating terrain, stonework and water features with sustainable native flora creates a true desert eden.

Tragically, Bill passed away unexpectedly in 2017. All those who came to know Bill were deeply saddened by his passing. His spirit lives on in and is felt throughout the property. Currently, The Good House continues to uphold his vision of bringing peace and wellness to all who step inside the gates.

In 2020, the seven room, little Spanish hot spring oasis was renovated and rebranded into The Good House. The rooms were updated with kitchenette and bathroom remodels, a brand new F+B program and wellness was brought back with the introduction of The Spa at The Good House, featuring both eastern and western styles of massage and facials.
